     The Atlantic Rain Forest has already covered much of the Brazilian territory, but there is currently 8% of the original remaining. And the largest continuo and preserved areas are among the coastlines of Paraná, São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro states.

     Let’s start by getting to know the highlands of the Atlantic Rainforest and its caves. Then we continue to Curitiba, capital of the state of Paraná, from where we will take a train that descends through the Sea Range to Morretes city, already on the coast of Paraná state.

     From there we follow the coast knowing the parks, the cities, the culture and the history with more than 500 years of the coast from Paranaguá to Ilha Grande cities.

  

Travel Itinerary:

  

• 1º DAY: ARRIVAL GRU.

06:00 – Arrival in Guarulhos Airport/BRAZIL and bring to airport hotel.

11:30 – Leaving the airport hotel.

12:00 – Welcome Lunch.

13:00 – Departure for Iporanga/SP.

18:00 – Expected arrival in Iporanga.

  

• 2º DAY: IPORANGA/SP

Let’s visit the caves in the PETAR - Ribeira River Highlands Touristic State Park (petaronline.com.br).

  

• 3º DAY: CURITIBA/PR

08:00 – Breakfast.

09:00 – Departure to Curitiba.

13:00 – Expected arrival in Curitiba, check-in in the hotel.

13:30 – Lunch.

14:30 – City tour in Curitiba.

19:00 – Dinner in the traditional Italian neighborhood of “Santa Felicidade”.

  

• 4º DAY: MORRETES, ANTONINA and GUARAQUEÇABA CITIES.

07:00 – Breakfast and leaving the Hotel.

08:15 – Start of the train trip. It is 50 miles until Morretes city through the Sea Range and the 3.000 feet decedents.

12:15 – Arrival in Morretes.

13:00 – Lunch. Suggestion: the local typical food, a kind of cookie meat called “Barreado” because it is cooked in clay pots.

14:30 – Departure to Guaraqueçaba city, passing through Antonina city.

18:00 – Check-in Bambuza Inn in Guaraqueçaba city.

  

• 5º DAY: GUARAQUEÇABA / HONEY ISLAND.

08:00 – Breakfast.

09:00 – Let’s visit the Salto Morato Nature Reserve (www.fundacaogrupoboticario.org.br/pt/o-que-fazemos/reservas-naturais/pages/reserva-natural-salto-morato.aspx).

13:00 – Check-out Bambuza Inn.

14:30 – Departure to Paranaguá city and Honey Island.

17:00 – Expected arrival in Honey Island and check-in in the Inn.

  

• 6º DAY: HONEY ISLAND.

• 7º DAY: SUPERAGUI  and CARDOSO ISLAND.

09:00 – Breakfast.

14:30 – Departure to the Cardoso Island.

17:00 – Expected arrival in the “Caiçara Village” do Marujá in the Cardoso Island State Park and check-in in the lodging.

  

• 8º DAY: CARDOSO ISLAND.

Let’s spend the day getting to know the Cardoso Island State Park. Let’s walk to the natural swimming pool in the deserted beach of Lages.

  

• 9º DAY: CARDOSO ISLAND / CANANÉIA

08:00 – Breakfast.

09:00 – Let’s know the Grande waterfall.

13:00 – Lunch.

14:00 – Departure to Cananéia city.

17:00 – Arrival in Cananéia and check-in in the Inn.

  

• 10º DAY: CANANÉIA / PERUÍBE.

08:00 – Breakfast.

09:00 – City tour em Cananéia.

13:00 – Check-out the Inn.

14:30 – Departure to the Peruíbe city.

18:00 – Expected arrival in Peruíbe e check-in in the Inn.

  

• 11º DAY: PERUÍBE / SANTOS

08:00 – Breakfast.

09:00 – Let’s visit the Juréia-Itatins Ecological Station. Deserted beaches and waterfalls.

14:00 – Check-out do hotel.

14:30 – Departure to the city of Santos/SP passing through Itanhaém, Mongaguá and Praia Grande cities.

19:00 – Expected arrival in Santos e check-in in Atlantic Inn Hotel.

 

• 12º DAY: SANTOS.

08:00 – Breakfast.

09:00 – Start the city tour in Santos city.

13:00 – Lunch.

14:00 – City tour.

18:00 – Return to the Hotel.

 

• 13º DAY: BERTIOGA and GUARUJÁ.

08:00 – Breakfast.

09:00 – Departure to get to know the city of Bertioga and Guarujá, and the first fortress built in Brazil. We will spend the day in the white beach.

19:00 – Return to Santos.

  

• 14º DAY: PARANAPIACABA VILLAGE.

08:00 – Breakfast.

09:00 – Departure to Paranapiacaba Village.

20:00 – Return to Santos.

 

• 15º DAY: ILHABELA.

08:00 – Breakfast.

13:00 – Check-out of Hotel.

14:00 – Departure to Ilhabela, passing through the beaches of São Sebastião city.

18:00 – Arrival in Ilhabela and check-in in the Inn.

 

• 16º DAY: ILHABELA.

08:00 – Breakfast.

09:00 – Let’s spend the day to get to know Ilhabela. The off road trip to the beach of Castelhanos.

18:00 – Return to the Hotel.

 

• 17º DAY: ILHABELA / PARATY.

09:00 – Breakfast.

10:00 - City tour

13:00 – Lunch and check-out to the Hotel.

14:00 – Departure to Paraty, passing through Caraguatatuba and Ubatuba cities.

18:00 – Arrival in Paraty.

 

• 18º DAY: PARATY.

09:00 – Let’s spend the day to get to know Paraty. Today, the boat trip to Mamangua Fjord and the deserted beaches in the Paraty bay.

15:00 – Let’s visit one old sugar cane run mills.

18:00 – Return to the Porto Imperial Inn

 

• 19º DAY: PARATY.

09:00 – Let’s spend the day to get to know Paraty. Today, the city tour.

• 20º DAY: PARATY / ILHA GRANDE.
